Started Smash Bash Music Group unofficially in 1999, then as a production label in 2008, & then officially as a music publisher in 2010. J.L. is the centerpiece of Smash Bash Music Group's funding, business relations, marketing, and image in the industry.

The multi- talented producer /artist Curt McGurt has worked with artists such as Ace Hood, Lil' Keke, Paul Wall, Z-Ro, Kiotti (Houston's 97.9 The Box) , and many more as a producer. His name is continues to grow throughout the industry and streets of Dallas, Texas as he moves forward in a music filled career path full of opportunity. He recently to expanded his horizons by releasing his first solo project this past quarter as a solo artist containing his new single "Red Light Green Light" ft. Amber Brook
Amber is our Marketing and Promotions specialist. She has done promotions and marketing (including modeling) for Dove, Disney , Boost, The Dallas Cowboys, Salon 101. She also is currently participatiing in several rolls in films set to debut in  2012.

Yung $pitta
He is one of SBMG's newest artist and was discovered by Curt Mcgurt through networking event attending. Curt is executive producer of $pitta's first project titled "Gone", which was release in mid January  2011. This mixtape will contained his first single "China Man". He also has released his anticipated "Munchies" Mixtape In July 2011. He looks to continue to both build his name as a brand along with bringing notariety to Smash Bash Music Group as a music power-house in the southern region and aticipates launching his website YUNGSPITTAMUSIC.COM in January 2012.

DJ Johnny Rip 
Also known as DJ Rip, SBMG appointed DJ has made big strives for the tender age of 20. He was appointed by the Enforcer DJ's at 18 he had signed on as a Hustle Squad DJ by 19. Now at 20, he is also a Coast 2 Coast Dj. He was discovered by SBMG, and shortly after began doing the dirty work of street promoting to earn his keeps with the company. He has since went on to start own line of mixtapes that have developed a following on youtube at which his mixtape line has generated over 230,000 views site wide. The screwed and chopped specialist has released Slow Grindz 1, 2, along with Texas Taks pt. 1 & the Love Jones series. He plans to tackle his own Curt Mcgurt Mixtape in the near future in which he will be given authority to hand-pick songs from Curt McGurt's work and form his own mixtape from his picks. Drop Top Muzik will released April 2011. He currently reigns as the SBMG March Madness 2012 DJ during this month.

 Sides - Coming straight from St. Louis, sides is bringing his own style to the music scene. He makes music about his own personal experiences and circumstances he has faced. Sides began working with producer Curt McGurt and was soon after introduced to JL Lighten (Owner of SBMG).
